Walk with us

200 women could walk for a day.
30 LGBTQ+ people could each walk for a week.
3,000 of us could each walk just one mile.
No matter how you slice it, we accomplish this thing together or not at all.
There are still many roles to fill on our cross-country journey. Help us make this thing happen by volunteering or donating resources to the cause like food, lodging, and gear for the walkers on this long journey.
“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”
–Coco Chanel,
Fashion Designer and Businesswoman

May 26 - June 5
Hey Ogden & Salt Lake City
The Women’s Walk Across America
is passing through your area and we need your help.
Walk with us! With each step, we commit to staying engaged in
the fight to protect women’s rights all across this great nation.
Details:
This is an active relay. You will be provided with logistical details regarding where to meet up with the group. It is an opportunity to walk alongside our long-distance walkers, hear their stories and discuss what calls each of us to stand up and say: NO MORE!
What we need most:
Walkers: Each step is a step toward change. Join us! Sign up here.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, or end-of-day; providing nourishment to walkers in your home or on the road (breakfast burritos, sandwiches, tacos, etc.). Home cooking is wonderful when you’ve been out on the road a while!
Lodging: Housing or a place walkers can camp. Can be as simple as allowing a tent to be pitched in your backyard. Access to showers is always appreciated, but not a necessity.
Community Support:
1) Provide essential walker transportation. Drive walkers from one place to another along the route.
2) Having a cold beverage station and/or shade tent available as the walkers pass through town.
3) Coordinate support ahead of the walkers. In particular, these help a lot: Lodging; Press; Recruiting new walkers; Transportation of food, walkers and luggage.
Route Planning: Locals who are familiar with the area can provide considerable assistance as route coordinators. Your local expertise is preferable to the often unreliable metrics that are available online.
