Susan rode 28 extremely hilly miles, risking dehydration. Marguerite rode 2 flat miles. We passed through Aurora and Miltonvale, ending the ride in Clay Center.

Susan’s note to self: drink more on big elevation days.

We ate a real dinner for the first time in what feels like ages; the food at El Puerto is very good, and much better than that from the QuickMart, gas station, or our brown bag PBJ and chips.

Tomorrow will again bring more hills. But we are now less than 100 miles from Topeka. Yay!

Susan says, “Check out the video to hear what kept me going on the hills today.”
